Importing Plug-ins

This page explains a generalized process for importing plug-ins into Mari.

1.   Once plug-ins have been downloaded, navigate to this folder in your home directory:
On Windows: C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Mari\Scripts
On Linux/Mac: UserDirectory\Mari\Scripts
If you do not already have the \Scripts folder, you can create it.
2.   Select your downloaded plug-in files from your downloads folder, and Extract these files from zip into your \Scripts folder.
3.   Restart Mari. The new plug-in may show a splash screen to confirm that it has been downloaded. If not, go to Tools > Plug-ins. Here you can see a list of the installed plugins.

Tip:  You can also go to Python > Show Console to see if any plugins have been installed.

Note:  Some plug-ins may require additional or alternative steps: refer to provider’s instructions for further information.
